Mihailo Gajic is an economist from Belgrade. He is the economic research director at the Libertarian club Libek, a think tank in Belgrade, Serbia. He provides research for evidence-based policymaking, in order to promote free-market solutions for social problems. Mihailo regularly publishes articles in leading Serbian weekly and daily newspapers on economic and political issues, and Libek’s research and policy papers gain prominent national visibility, being discussed by members of government and parliamentary caucuses.
He also closely collaborates with the Friedrich Naumann Stiftung on the Freedom Barometer project, a composite index measuring the level of democracy, economic freedom, and rule of law.
