Isaac Cristóbal Godoy Delgado, 54 years old, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is a Graduate in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of La Laguna in 1986. Professor of Secondary School since 1987, he teaches at the IES Isabel de España in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He has held responsibilities as a technician in innovation and educational research, as coordinator of the Environmental Education Program, and as head of Educational Programs in the General Direction of Education and Educational Innovation from 1994 to 2003.
In 2003, he was appointed Territorial Director of Education of Las Palmas, and after almost two years in that position, in May 2005, he was appointed Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands until his term in June 2007. He participates in training actions as an assistant and speaker, aimed at specialization didactics and methodology in the field of science and the renewal of education, values, innovation, and management or educational planning.
Complementary training especially linked to the field of environmental management and planning as well as ecological impact, highlighting educational activities and environmental information and the realization of various masters as a student and teacher.
