Dr. Roberta Q. Herzberg is Distinguished Senior Fellow for the F. A. Hayek Program in Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics where she specializes in institutional analysis, health policy, and the changing relationship between work and dependency. She previously held faculty and leadership positions in political science at Utah State University (USU), including Department Head and Administrative Director of The Institute of Political Economy, and in the Political Science department and The Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University, Bloomington and at the John Templeton Foundation.
Dr. Herzberg is a past president of the Public Choice Society (2014-2016), currently serves as a board member of the Association of Private Enterprise Educators, Friends of the Austrian Economic Center and the Philadelphia Society, and is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society. She has been an active advisor in state-level policy in the U.S. and has served in numerous policy leadership positions. She is a frequent lecturer on Institutional Analysis, Political Economy, and Policy Reform.
