Mats Kinnwall is chief economist at The Association of Swedish Engineering Industries. During 2015-2018 he was chief economist at The Swedish Association of Industrial Employers and The Swedish Forest Industries Federation. He has also been chief economist at SALAR, The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions and chief analyst at Svenska Handelsbanken. Mats Kinnwall is a board member of Skandia Investment Management and was a board member of the state pension fund AP7 during 2011-2020.
