After studying law with a focus on finance and business law in Vienna and human resources and organizational development in Innsbruck, Gerald Loacker worked for the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce and TridonicAtco GmbH & Co KG from 1998 and 2004. In 2004, he took over the HR management of Rondo Ganahl AG, before moving to Dornbirner Sparkasse Bank AG in 2007, where he was HR manager until February 2016. Currently, he works as an expert on occupational science as well as work and company organization. Since the National Council election in 2013, he has been a member of the National Council and social spokesman for NEOS, and since 2015 he is deputy chairman of the club.
