Gabriel Mursa is a university professor. He teaches economic theory and the history of economic thought at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi. In 2003, he attained a Ph.D. in Economics, following the completion of a research program with the objective of studying the economic, political, and social origins of 20th-century liberalism. In 2011, he founded the Friedrich von Hayek Institute Romania. Over the years, he has published four books as a single author: Liberalism, Essays on Political Economy, Logic of Market, and Economic Order of a Free Society. He has translated over thirty books written by the most important liberal thinkers, being simultaneously one of the coordinators of the project for translating into Romanian the work of Friedrich Hayek. In 2014, he received the title of Professor Bologna, offered by the National Alliance of Student Organizations in Romania.
