Danica Popovic is a full professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. She received her Ph.D. in 1990 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. She teaches International Economics (undergraduate), Macroeconomic Models (undergraduate), and Open Economy Macroeconomics (undergraduate). Her professional interest is focused on macroeconomic theory and models, national accounts, and foreign trade theory and policy. She has been a consultant to the Federal Government and National Bank of Yugoslavia. First, she worked as a researcher at the Institute for Economics of Industry in Belgrade (1980-1989). She has been teaching at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade since 1989. On several occasions (1987, 1991, and 1996) she took part in academic and professional programs in London. Editor in the journal Panoeconomicus.
