earned his doctorate in economics from George Mason University in 2002. He is past president of the Association of Private Enterprise Education, editor of the Journal of Private Enterprise, editor of two books, and author of more than three dozen refereed journal articles and a book entitled Private Governance to be published by Oxford University Press. Stringham is endowed chair for the L.V. Hackley Foundation for the Study of Capitalism and Free Enterprise at Fayetteville State University, North Carolina, United States.
